Since 2002, the Rack Man has been part of the family. In the field, in the woods, in rain or sun, he has tested almost all the brand’s products, from the Dynamo set to the J.T. Moose Camouflage set. This year, our Sportchief designers decided to surprise Réal with his own merchandise collection, The Rack Man.

A tribute to a loyal ambassador
The collection The Rack Man is not just a line of caps, t-shirts, and hoodies. It is a tribute to over 20 years of collaboration, to an ambassador who has marked hunting history with his career record and his largest 76-inch moose rack, and to a man who embodies authenticity even in his way of dressing. We are proud to have an ambassador so passionate about Sportchief products and dedicated to his sport.
For the design team at Sportchief, this project was also an opportunity to say thank you: thank you for the trust, for the shared moments, and for proudly carrying the colors and products of Sportchief, season after season.

A touching story
Stéphanie Tremblay and Émilie Larocque, the designers at Sportchief who worked on this project for a year and a half, explain that above all they wanted to pay tribute to Réal. Loyal and committed all these years, he perfectly embodies the Sportchief spirit.
He wears our products daily, so we wanted to offer him a personalized collection that tells his story.
"When we launch a collection with our ambassadors, it is extremely important for us to meet their needs and expectations. We take the time to meet them, chat, listen, and get to know them a little better. That can mean discovering what they like, why they work with Sportchief, what they need, and how they hunt. We also stay open to their ideas because it’s really an exchange.
Réal already knows our Sportchief products very well. We knew our goal was to create a collection entirely dedicated to him, like a nod. It was our way of thanking him for everything he brings to Sportchief and highlighting his pride."

In this spirit, a wonderful surprise took shape when Kevin Langlois, photographer and videographer at Sportchief and son of Réal, sent Stéphanie a photo of his father proudly holding the largest rack of his career, harvested in Yukon. Stéphanie made some edits to transform this image into a powerful illustration integrated into the merchandise, a simple yet meaningful gesture that celebrates both passion and family history.

A design made for true hunters... with style
The collection The Rack Man (L'Homme Panache)The Rack Man (L'Homme Panache) stands out with details that blend authenticity and style, while staying true to Sportchief's DNA. Among the flagship pieces:
The cap: vintage metal finish, semi-leather trim, and The Ripper sepia camouflage version combining camo patterns and color blocks, a true visual signature of the brand
The hoodies: bold and proud logo on the sleeve, and if we trust Réal Langlois, these are the ones that will steal the spotlight
The t-shirts: logo placed on the back for a clean yet distinctive style
And this is just the beginning, as new colors will appear next spring, with a collection set to evolve with the seasons.

A collection versatile by nature
Beyond style, each piece was designed to be versatile, no matter the hunting season:
Perfect as a base layer for hunting in warm temperatures (summer bear hunting, moose hunting in still warm weather)
Easy to integrate into a multilayer system
Simply pleasant to wear after the hunt
The Rack Man collection is...
The The Rack Man collection is perfectly summed up in three words chosen by Réal himself: beautiful, comfortable, and durable. Three simple words that say it all about the quality and authenticity of what he offers.
